Circadian Eyewear is a team of award-winning designers with more than 30 years of experience in collaboration with research scientists and industry experts to design, develop and produce life-altering products. We are situated in Norway, both in Bergen and in Husnes, in the mouth of the Hardangerfjord. In addition we are reaching out with an extensive international network. |

We started Circadian Eyewear in respond to an expanding body of knowledge pointing to the pivotal role that well-tuned circadian rhythms play in people’s physiological and psychological health, longevity and quality of life. Scientific research points to the adverse effects of exposure to blue light at night and disruption of the circadian rhythms, which is associated with many serious, and even life-threatening, diseases. Registered as a class 1 medical device, our blue-blockers virtually eliminate the blue light. The hormone melatonin has countless positive effects on our physical- and mental health by promoting sleep and strengthening the immune system. We have bought and tested glasses from several online stores claiming to eliminate blue light, and discovered that there was no industry standard for how much of blue light they claim to eliminate and how helpful they were at the end. In addition, the glasses we bought showed lack of quality, style, and good ergonomic design. At Circadian Eyewear we make sure our eyewear is based on the latest cutting edge scientific research, optic technology, and design. To manage this, we attend international eyewear conventions, consulting with health care professionals and research scientists in the fields of neuroscience, chronobiology, psychology, and light-therapy around the world. Designed in Norway our blue blocking sleep glasses are CE-marked and classified as a class 1 medical device, which is the highest standard of qualification. The Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority tests our lenses to make sure we provide the highest possible quality standard in blue blocking lens.
